Keynote: I can write the code. But getting something done is another matter.
Jessica Kerr is a software developer and symmathecist: she works in sociotechnical systems that are constantly learning. She observes that software developers have unique powers to affect our own worlds, and she has opinions about how we should make our own worlds more pleasant. At Honeycomb.io, she manages Developer Relations; at home in St. Louis, she manages two teenagers and two cats. She has keynoted conferences about Ruby, Java, Scala, Elm, and Elixir. This is her first C++ conference.
